Back to normal ~ or trying to be.

Waaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzuuuuuuuuuuupppppppppp?????????? :) Hi! Yeah, I'm finally trying to get back to a normal schedule and get this updated! So, to update everyone over the last month here's what's going on in the life of Emily Hulett.

December 22, was officially my last day at Farm Bureau in Anderson Co. I was very sad. One of my closest friends works there, and I had to leave her... I got so used to being able to see her everyday and took for granted being able to spill my guts whenever I wanted! I was able to spend some time with her last Saturday and that was truly a blessing.

December 22 PM- We have a stowaway! Yup, Sarah Watt came with us on our trip home to Illinois! It really was fun to have her with us, it seemed like the trip went so fast having someone else with us! Anyway, we made our way home and stayed until December 31st. This truly was a blessed time. We needed to get away and spend some time with family, but more so with each other. We don't see each other hardly at all during the school year, so it was great to catch up on some "together" time. We loved being there for three church services at our home church! It is such a blessing to see the people at home staying faithful. We came away with several burdens to carry, but that is what the fellow Christian friends are to do... help carry a burden. God has been so good to us, it's so hard to explain. I really struggled with being here, I really didn't want to be here whether it was God's Will or not. I can joyfully say that, that has changed! When we go home, Phil and I both can't wait to get back to Tennessee because we know that is where God wants us. It is amazing to me the people that God has put in our lives to encourage us. I will forever be grateful to so many people for helping me stay faithful.

January 1 - Yeah, so we didn't do anything for New Years! LOL and that's okay. I got to see the ball drop, that was fun... last year I fell asleep. It was nice to be home for a couple days to catch up on home chores and relax!

January 3- I started my new job! This week was really hard. I hardly knew anybody, and the atmosphere was so different to what I had been used to! My boss hugged me on my first day. I can honestly say, I have never had a sweeter, most compassionate boss than what I have now. This past Saturday, he had us over for dinner! He made this chicken/sausage gumbo with rice, and we had a whole bunch of cajun food! I had fresh crab dip that he had made out of crab that he brought back from Louisiana. It was so neat. His house is magnificant! Anyway... I am now getting into a grove at my new job, and I know the people for the most part now. Again, God is good. There were a few times I didn't think I could do it. But I'm still here and lovin' it!

January 6- I got a rabbit! His name is Ears! :) He's soooo cute. We had him out last night just letting him go around the livingroom and he was hopping all over the place it was so funny! He loves to eat carrots, it's funny when he eats them because the fur all around his mouth will be orange by the time he's done eating. It's cute. Ears likes to be held and cuddled but he can't figure out why when he pee's he gets thrown in his cage! :)
January 13 - I decided to sell Partylite! :) :) :) I'm so very excited! I'm really hoping that this will help us pay off some things, and even save a little for when the Lord blesses us with children. My first party will be on January 27th! Please pray for me in this... I'm hoping this too will help me get used to speaking in front of people I don't know!

January 17 - I became an aunt again! To a beautiful little redhead baby girl. Her name is Audrey Joan Rowell. She was born at 7:19 a.m. and weighed in at 8.5 pounds and 20 1/2 inches long! Here's a picture of the cutie... If you want to see more you can go to her daddy's blog www.redheadrev.blogspot.com But here is the picture I got on my phone!

January 20- Today. Everyone is gone to a meeting off-site so I'm here by myself! But I just wanted to update this so you knew what's up with me! Hopefully I will get to post more often. Hope you all are doing well and are dwelling in the goodness of the Lord!

Proverbs 30 verse 5
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him
